NeonLlama Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the NeonLlama app for Apple TV (tvOS) and its companion app for iPhone (iOS), both developed and published by the same developer.

Overview

NeonLlama is an audio visualiser. It does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The app operates entirely on your devices and your local network. There are no external servers, no user accounts, and no cloud services involved.

Information We Do Not Collect

NeonLlama does not collect any information about you or your device. Specifically:

• No analytics or usage tracking
• No advertising identifiers
• No device fingerprinting
• No crash reporting to third parties
• No personal information of any kind

Microphone Access

Both the tvOS and iOS apps may request permission to access your device's microphone. This is used solely to capture audio for real-time visualisation. Audio is processed entirely on your device using signal analysis (FFT). Raw audio is never recorded, stored, or transmitted to any external service.

Local Network Communication

The iOS companion app can send processed audio data to the NeonLlama app on your Apple TV over your local home network using Apple's MultipeerConnectivity framework. This communication is direct, device-to-device, and does not pass through any external server. Only processed audio features (frequency bands, waveform data, and energy levels) are transmitted — never raw audio.

On-Device Storage

User preferences such as visualisation settings, playlists, and audio gain levels are stored locally on your device. This data is not synced to the cloud or shared with anyone.

In-App Purchases

NeonLlama offers an optional in-app purchase to unlock additional visualisations. All purchase transactions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive, process, or store any payment or billing information.

Third-Party Services

NeonLlama does not use any third-party services, SDKs, or frameworks for analytics, advertising, or data collection. The app is built exclusively with Apple's first-party frameworks.

Children's Privacy

NeonLlama does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since the app collects no data at all, there is no risk of inadvertent data collection from minors.

Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date. As NeonLlama does not collect contact information, we are unable to notify users directly of changes.
